We are a tight knit team consisting of Engineers, Marketeers, Artists, Hobby Chefs and Content writers coming together to make a next generation full stack food discovery and delivery platform.. We are essentially questioning the status quo here by asking why does the food delivery and discovery market have to be totally skewed towards eating outside (Bahar ka) food sourced from restaurants/dhabas/ local eating joints when the Indian consumer has in fact been ordering from passionate and need based home chefs since the days of the Dabbawala.
We are trying to figure out how best to connect passionate foodies and chefs by leveraging on the current tech ecosystem while also dreaming our way to becoming a cross platform enabled omni present ecosystem (think Web 3.0) where we would effectively be able to get everyone (connected to the net in India) to explore what’s that one amazing dish cooking in that one persons home which has become a timeless family recipe( or should we say heirloom?). Our hypothesis is that the price sensitive ( or insensitive ) Indian consumer may not be ready to compromise on his long term health despite getting convenience of 10 minute deliveries. Our subset of current consumers and future Sheffy’s (our little converted cult) would in fact be those who are bored and looking for ways to explore delicious and healthier food options while not getting backlash from their taste buds.
We will give you honest and high quality food options from hand picked chefs and show genuine and true photos (not the stock photos which many food apps and restaurants have picked from the net) of what you can expect. Simply put, you will eat what you see.
Do give us feedback and let us and our chef know what works and what doesn’t work and we will work on the same. While the taste would differ and as in any exploratory journey, there would be things which you like and don’t like, we assure you that the after dinner stomach ache and burning sensation due to poor quality ingredients( especially the cheap commercial vegetable oil) won’t take place. No heart burn, no bloating, no stomach ache and most importantly, no guilt.
We are creating a movement of FRESH, HEALTHIER and CUSTOMISABLE food options because we genuinely care about what you eat and don’t want you to levy a discount coupon on your life span.
